Description
Haut Brion is one of the five first growths of Bordeaux and is located in the Pessac Leognan region. The winery has a long history dating back to the 16th century and is known for producing some of the finest wines in the world.
The Haut Brion Pessac Leognan 1988 is a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. This vintage is known for its elegant and refined character, with notes of blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco, and earth. The wine has a silky texture, smooth tannins, and a long, lingering finish. It is drinking beautifully now but can also be aged further to develop more complexity.
