LATOUR PAUILLAC 2001
Description
Latour is one of the oldest wineries in the Bordeaux region, with a history dating back to the 14th century. Known for producing high-quality, age-worthy wines, Latour is considered one of the premier grand cru classe wineries in Pauillac.
The 2001 Latour Pauillac is a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. This wine offers a complex bouquet of black fruits, cedar, tobacco, and earthy notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and excellent aging potential. The 2001 vintage is drinking beautifully now, but will continue to evolve and improve over the next decade. Pair with roasted lamb or a hearty beef stew for a perfect food and wine pairing experience.
