Description
Château Branaire-Ducru is a fourth growth estate located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux. The winery boasts 120 acres of vineyards planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. With a history dating back to the 17th century, the estate produces elegant and refined wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.
The Branaire Ducru Margaux 2011 is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23.5% Merlot, 4.5% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. This wine displays a deep ruby color and offers aromas of dark fruits, cedar, and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and well-integrated oak. Flavors of blackcurrant, plum, and tobacco lead to a long, elegant finish. This wine has the potential to age gracefully for years to come.
