The Montrose Saint Estephe 2006 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. This vintage displays a deep ruby color with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and cedar. On the palate, flavors of cassis, blackberry, and spice are balanced with refined tannins and a long, elegant finish. This wine is drinking beautifully now but will continue to evolve over the next decade.
