Bordeaux
With its 38 appellations, the Bordeaux vineyard is the most important in France in terms of AOC. Some of the wines produced there are among the most famous and expensive in the world, making Bordeaux a world benchmark in terms of wine production.
The vineyard's production is varied: around 80% red wines (such as Pomerol or Pauillac) and 20% dry white wines (such as Entre-deux-mers or Pessac-Léognan) or sweet (for example Sauternes or Cadillac), to which are added rosés, clairets, and sparkling wines (crémant de Bordeaux).
Chateau de la Dauphine, Fronsac - 2019
Description
Chateau de la Dauphine is a historic winery located in the Fronsac appellation of Bordeaux. With a commitment to sustainable practices, the estate produces exceptional wines that showcase the unique terroir of the region.
The 2019 Chateau de la Dauphine is a bold and elegant red wine with a deep ruby color. On the nose, aromas of ripe black fruits, cedar, and spices fill the glass. The palate is full-bodied with velvety tannins and flavors of black cherry, plum, and vanilla. This wine has a long, smooth finish with hints of oak and dark chocolate. Pair it with grilled meats or aged cheeses for a delightful dining experience.
